10月14日讯曼彻斯特晚报消息，有6名曼联球员的合同将在明夏到期，其中4名球员的合同中没有续约1年的选择权，曼联尚未就这些球员的续约问题做出明确决定。

曼晚指出，4名明夏合同到期且没有续约选择权的球员分别是希顿、埃文斯、林德洛夫以及埃里克森。

曼联曾想要在夏窗将林德洛夫出售，因为伤病原因球员最终留在了曼联，如果冬窗后林德洛夫仍在曼联，预计他将会被允许以自由身离开。在过去的七场比赛中，埃里克森有六场比赛都是首发出场。但曼联打算在明年更新球员的中场人员配置，此外这名中场在明年2月就将年满33岁。

希顿与埃文斯均在今夏与曼联签订了为期1年的续约合同，球员的家庭目前都在英格兰的西北部，这给双方重新进行谈判提供了一些灵活性。曼联主教练的人选也将会产生影响，在此前曼联决定继续留用滕哈赫后，以上两名球员均与球队达成了为期1年的协议。而在赛季前11场比赛只赢下了3场后，滕哈赫在曼联的未来又充满了悬念。

此外马奎尔以及阿马德-迪亚洛的合同也将在明夏到期，两名球员得到合同中含有1年的续约选择权，迪亚洛本赛季已经是曼联队内不可或缺的一员，曼联计划与其谈续约。
